The Grand Canal Venice (Metropoliton museum New York}
Here is another Turner. Turner is perhaps my favourite artist. his use of light and the scale of his paintings always inspire.
This Painting was painted in 1835.
The mixture of water and light that is Venice lets Turner show his skills as a painter at his best
