Not A Perfect Painting

Down to The Sea

Inspired by yesterdays visit to Hayling Island .
I have exploited the watercolour effects you can get with acrylic and used variouse washes. This was done on recycled cartridge paper and was quite thick. It was a A3 pad and had been hanging around for ages, new there was a reason for keeping it!

Painting on Cardboard

10×7ins
Painting on cardbourd is interesting and gives rise to different experiences and perspectives. you can see the cardboard and this gives off a worn effect like a old wall.
When I was at art school there was plenty of cardboard around and this was a usefull at the time.
This image was painted with Acrylic

A Painting On A Wall

On a wall a painting breaths and says this is where I belong.
where a painting is hung is important and it needs to speak to you from there
