I really will have to stop this one now as it works fine…basicly mixed media 7×4inches.

Wednesday Walkabout

Wednesday  Walkabout  whemt for a walk down Langstone way again.
The tide was in and it was a still afternoon

Warblington Castle caught my eye glimpsed through the trees from the garveyard

Another view this time with some atmospheric smoke as someone was having a bonfire!

I wa getting interested in the smoke and the contrast with the tower.

New Painting

Not posted a painting for a while….
Have been doing a spot of painting over the past few days.
Am quite pleased with the effect of this which is my take on Langston foreshore.
you can perhaps see the influence of the railway slleepers
It is mixed media 10 insx10 ins.
it perhaps has impressionist influences

Wondering Wednesday

A walk along Langstone foreshore always produces interesting photos as this shot of a close up of a old railway sleeper now protecting the shore.

This could be used as a green abstract painting or indeed the basis for any abstract.

A Green world….this from a cropped photo and works rather well.Taken down a Langstone today.

A Langstone Walk

a lovely morning so decided on a walk down to Langtone first photo shows view along foreshore

Here i am looking at old railway sleepers hat are used to protect the coast against flooding, Getting into Texture I think

With the wind and the weather plus the in and out of tides…….
