Down Lagstone Way

IMG_6022

Been spending a bit of time down at Langstone a lovely natural environment near to where I live

IMG_6036

This shot is looking towards Hayling Island and possibly Thorney to the left

IMG_6037

The horizon line is never more than @.5 miles away I seem to remember reading somewhere

IMG_6045This is a paintingĀ  (7x5ins) that sort of is my take on the horizon line maybe at Langstone very grey and monochrome but that is part of the enviornment of Langstone sometimes.

Cropped Images

IMG_5819
I love to crop images from photos and I find this picks up on details that you may have at first missed. I especially like panoramic shots!

IMG_5820
I wanted to emphasis the tree in this shot along with the cows.

IMG_5821
With this photo cropped you can start to play arond with shapes more….looks a bit like a figure standing there?

Wondering Wednesday Again

Wondering Again!
In a attempt to try and keep reasonably mobile as my back is playing up and as anyone who knows me this causes me problems from time time I thought I needed a bit of exercise and a walkabout.

IMG_5816
You can just about make out the shape I showed last week or the week before but it does show how thing grow!

IMG_5817
Railway Sleeper again!
the pattersns on this caught my eye, I am getting a thing about these railway sleepers!

IMG_5818
A view looking towards Langstone Mill

IMG_5820
This is walking toward Emsworth and looking in the direction of Warblington Castle

IMG_5821
Not sure what sort of trees gow on the edge of the shore they look like willows but I was starting to find the drying seaweed and roots and branches interesting

IMG_5823
I especially like this shot as it as a tunnel effect and subterranean feel to it.

Wondering Wednesday

IMG_5788
A walk along Langstone foreshore always produces interesting photos as this shot of a close up of a old railway sleeper now protecting the shore.

IMG_5791
This could be used as a green abstract painting or indeed the basis for any abstract.

IMG_5793

Going back up the Lane, looking backtowards the shoe. I always like this view and the natural shape at the end of the Lane.

IMG_5794
Turning to look across a field I suddenly say this Bollard on a fence! …Contemporary Art!!!

IMG_5795
Back to Nature and a close up of a Branch.

The last photo A puddle and reflections.
