As Paint dries and the way the paint landed from the brush plus a bit of your own imagination and you can start to see many things int what looks like random shapes .

With a bit if imagination an manipulation you can change a image or just explore further different possibilities ,
The above image is a case in point, I saw the possibility of arches and with the use of a digital painting tool was able to explore this idea further…
Ok the arches are not accurate but the impact is good and well worth doing as it may lead to painting themes in the future
Magic Painting
Sometimes painting with a pallet knife produces interesting effects and looking again at what you have done or at a different angel you can see something and say Ah,that is it! . It is also interesting to scan and zoom , you open open up a whole new world, this way!

What is…a painting or the image. is what you paint or is it a thought transmitted and your interpretation is the key?
You paint something turn it around a different angel and it becomes a different painting,then again we all see things in a different way but the artist is all powerful! .

Where do images come from ? I often wonder as very often they just seem to pop up on the painting surface.
Is it some magical process perhaps?
Some thought transference?
or just a matter of luck and seeing possibilities?
