These two paintings are really experiments in scratchings and scrapings plus a bit of mono type printing which I may show at a future date.Basicly using Acrylic and Pallet Knife with what has been shown
The pylon looms large but can be a source of inspiration,though can obscure views of the countryside.

Trees by the shore blown by the south west gales bleached by the sun and sea air bend over in a certain direction they carry the world and will never be very tall if in exposed places.
The trees can often end up almost like sculpted pieces of art and offer much inspiration.

Painting on cardbourd is interesting and gives rise to different experiences and perspectives. you can see the cardboard and this gives off a worn effect like a old wall.
When I was at art school there was plenty of cardboard around and this was a usefull at the time.

We have not had one of my paintings for a while so had better make amends,
This one has been hanging around anf the paint is quite thickly applied,also there is some emulsion, but i like the effect of it all.
The measurements are approx 10 x16 inches.
