Which is a wonderful digital tool….

This first image shows a photo of a painting which I I had started but got stuck on then saw possibilities…….

I like this one as it introduces a figure who is a Artist painting the scene and works well. [...]

Another Tea Party!

this is another painting thta is about to be explored digitaly I forget to say in the last post that this and the last one are7×5inches

I must say I like the shape of this though that was accidential I was trying to flip it, oh well happy accidents!!

…and now for something completely different!
There I was painting away and using this odd bit of cardboard as a pallet ..I saw a opportunity grabbed it and it became this. reminds me a bit of Matisse and some of his domestic scenes. It kind of works!

New Painting

Not posted a painting for a while….
Have been doing a spot of painting over the past few days.
Am quite pleased with the effect of this which is my take on Langston foreshore.
you can perhaps see the influence of the railway slleepers
It is mixed media 10 insx10 ins.
it perhaps has impressionist influences

i am trying to catch up with myself at the moment, what with all the excitement of the show on Friday, loas of people feedback positive.

Coast

This is a time of reflection and wondering what to do next.
i sort have a plan forming in the back of my mind but it needs a bit more thinking about.
The coast is a theme I would like to explore more again. this painting may or may not be finished.

Though none of these paintings made the final choice for my Degree show I still like them and feel they will be used in the future. Providing of course I do not deside to repaint them but I think these will remain special.
