Thanks Harry yes well van Gogh is always there but that was not the main thrust of my post this time I was just citing two examples to do with tables meal bar type scene etc i know there were more i could have done on that perhaps another post……….

Interesting that you should cite Renoir and Bonnard as influences, because when I look at this painting I see Van Gogh, and I know you’ve been looking at him recently.
