Wednesday saw me in Chichester. It was a grey and blowy morning but sometimes Grey conditions are good if they have colour in them as this one shows.
I like this view of Chichester Cathedral,
Not sure if this is the right way up but it is a splash of colour.!

Wednesday Walkabout whemt for a walk down Langstone way again.
The tide was in and it was a still afternoon
Warblington Castle caught my eye glimpsed through the trees from the garveyard
Another view this time with some atmospheric smoke as someone was having a bonfire!
I wa getting interested in the smoke and the contrast with the tower.

This Striking painting was painted be the American painter William Trost Richards and shows Lands Land in Cornwall at its most dramatic.
You can almost feel the spray of the sea in this painting and I like the golden light the painter achieves,

Its been a while since I have sketched from life so this morning being a nice sunny one with a pleasant breeze i did a couple down at Langstone . I used neocolour crayon like patel and a edding pen. The second one is not as good but stillconveys something to me.

Have not had a post about a railway for for a while so here is a painting by W.P Frith of Paddington Station.
The hustle and bustle of a station and Victorian society are what this painting is about.
