Painting on cardbourd is interesting and gives rise to different experiences and perspectives. you can see the cardboard and this gives off a worn effect like a old wall.
When I was at art school there was plenty of cardboard around and this was a usefull at the time.

This Striking painting was painted be the American painter William Trost Richards and shows Lands Land in Cornwall at its most dramatic.
You can almost feel the spray of the sea in this painting and I like the golden light the painter achieves,

Have been messing about with this 6′x4′ canvas. It had layers on already and i have been selecting different parts with colour and diluting with water using a water spray and letting it dry. I have cropped the photo a bit .It is looking interesting.

A walk along Langstone foreshore always produces interesting photos as this shot of a close up of a old railway sleeper now protecting the shore.
This could be used as a green abstract painting or indeed the basis for any abstract.

I like this arrangement of paintings, we have been given our space for the degree show and i am pleased as it is in a good position.
